Royals win Shawville title (updated)

The Royals won the Shawville Men's Fastpitch League playoff title on Monday night with a 12-2 win over the Twins. 

Adam Rueckwald had the win while Blake Bramburger took the loss. Rueckwald also hit two homers, and Hunter Beauregard hit one out as well for the Royals.

After an undefeated regular season, the Royals were upset in the first game of the playoff bracket by the Twins, but rebounded to win three straight to capture the John Atkinson Memorial trophy.

The Shawville Men's Fastpitch League has four teams and plays Monday nights (mostly) at the Shawville, QC Recreation Association diamond.
