Micksburg and Kars win in Manotick on Wednesday

The Micksburg Twins won one and lost one in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play in Manotick on Wednesday night.

The first game was the GOFL debut for Team Canada athlete pool member Riley Manion who suited up for the Twins. Manion threw a three hitter as Micksburg shutout the Manotick Brewers 3-0. Riley Dunbar started and took the loss, with Carley Shane pitching in relief for the Brewers.

The late game saw the Kars Aces defeat the Twins 5-2. Cory Alkerton earned the win, while Noah Fleurie had the loss with relief from John Enright.
