WC U20 wins in Fitzroy
West Carleton Electric U20 came back to defeat the Manotick Brewers 11-7 in a Greater Ottawa Fastball League exhibition game on Tuesday night in Fitzroy.
The Brewers were a bit short staffed and brought in some players to assist for the evening. They got out to a 7-3 lead at one point but WC came back to take the lead.
Blake Bramburger had the pitching win throwing three scoreless in relief of Noah Fleurie. Colton Lecuyer took the loss in relief of Kevin Bisch.
Manotick hit three homers with Ben Wade, Kevin Bisch, and Ryan Clare hitting balls out.
For WC U20, Noah Fleurie had four RBIs, going 2 for 2 with a sacrifice fly and a walk. Dylan Rorwick was 2 for 2 with two walks, an RBI and four runs scored. Conner Hopper was 3 for 3 with a walk, two RBIs and three runs scored, and Gabe Brown was 2 for 3 with two RBIs.
