Carlsbad Springs wins Harbour Ball Tournament
Carlsbad Springs won the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League tournament "A" Championship with a 3-1 win over Rona U17 on Sunday in front of a good crowd.

Rona U17 won a very well-played semi-final 1-0 over Los Caballos to make it to the final on the strength of a solo shot by Aaron Enright in the second inning. Carlsbad walked off their semi by scoring three in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Ottawa Valley Coffee 4-3.
Carley Shane and Tony Riches threw for Carlsbad in the final while Colton Lecuyer and Finn Barton pitched for Rona. Mark Cormier hit a two run homer for Carlsbad.
The "B" Final earlier in the day saw Bren Electric win 9-8 over The Wizards, walking it off in the bottom of the eighth inning on a two RBI single by Adam Brown.
Mark Wright and Steve Cavanagh combined for the pitching win. Derick Bulley and Chris Parish threw for the Wizards. Conner Hopper hit two homers for Bren and his teammate Josh Hemphill also hit one out.
