Quyon wins in Fitzroy

The Quyon Flyers won 6-1 in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play in Fitzroy Harbour on Tuesday night.

Drew Hathway earned the win, while Ben Broek took the loss.

The Flyers got one in the first when Dennis McCleary singled, advanced to third due to a bad bounce in right field and scored on Shawn Laframboise's single.

West Carleton responded in the second. Seam Lecuyer singled, moved to second on Broek's infield single and scored on Chris Trafford's single. 

Quyon scored two in the fourth on misplayed grounder, plating Curtis Daley who had singled and McCleary who had walked.

The Flyers got another three in the sixth. McCleary reached on a dropped third strike with two out, Hunter Beauregard reached on an error and Steve McCord drove them in with a double. Laframboise singled to score McCord.
