Sting and Micksburg win in Glen on Tuesday

Both best-of-three playoff semi-finals got started on Tuesday night in the Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League.

In the early game, the Sting defeated West Carleton 4-0. Kyle Olson earned the win, while Dan Read, sparing for WC, pitched well despite taking the loss.

The late game saw Micksburg defeat Corfix 11-5. John Enright had the win while Kevin Daize and Nick Ellis pitched for Corfix. Ellis had a homer as did Matt McIntyre and Joe Mick from Micksburg. 

The second game of each series is to be played Monday.
