Flyers win on Thursday

On Thursday night for the Greater Ottawa Fastball League game in Shawville, the rain delayed the start, the home team got the diamond playable, the game started, the game was delayed because the power was out, then another bigger storm came in and things were washed out for the night.

In the end, the Quyon Flyers got a shortened 3-1 1 won over West Carleton Electric. Drew Hathway pitched for the home team and 18 year old Finn Barton had his regular season GOFL debut for WC.

Jared Murray hit a two run homer for Quyon. Dylan Rorwick's sacrifice fly drove in the only WC run.

The second game of the night (Quyon vs. Los Caballos) was postponed.
