who pitched for Easton??
As per the story, Kyle Olson had the win for Easton. Young fella, pitched well from what I heard.
Randy Peck hit a triple? A Manotick outfielder must have slipped and fallen when going after the ball! :-)
Peck hit a fly ball off the crossbar on the fence and back in play over the fielder`s head. In Fitzroy the second baseman would have played it and held him to a double but Stittsville is a little larger park....
Hey, you guys quit slammin' the size of Fitzroy's park.
I'll have you know it's 230ft to straight away centre and that's not so bad. A little shorter in the 'alleys' I admit, but the 'grey monster' in right presents its own challenges.
The upper diamond is larger (pretty much 235ft all around, but it would present a challenge for night games!
