Lomor defeats Blitz for second week in a row

Lomor Printers defeated Ottawa Blitz 5-1 in Manotick on Wednesday night.

Shannon Borho pitched the first five innings for the Blitz and Derrick Bulley finished up.

With Lyle Schell's uncle passing away on Tuesday, the ball went to Tony Riches for yet another complete game for Lomor. In a related story, apparently shares in Advil have risen in early stock market trading.

For Lomor, Joe Allan had three hits and Lindsay Medynski and Steve Walman each had two.

Ottawa Blitz, St-Leonard Express, Quyon Flyers, Manotick Lomor Printers, Newboro, Scarborough Wolverines, Carp I4C, Bramalea Juniors, Valley Raiders, Blackburn Bombers, Oshawa Junior BB, and Micksburg Twins.

That's the list off their website... I think Micksburg was the last team to confirm.

You mean to tell me that the Blitz won't be participating in their own tournament? Lord knows they could use the practice! I find this quite strange.

Markham is out of the Oshawa league. The Blitz are on standby as there will be lots of work to do from the local players we have for the weekend. We may go to 16 as a Quebec team really is interested and if we pick up 2 more by Friday we go to 16. Otherwise we go with 12.

Again we stir up the pot and yet not being able to put your names on the Blog. If you have a problem with the Ottawa Blitz team at least say your name.
