Tourney of Champions pickups for Eastern Ont teams UPDATED AGAIN

Just in case anyone out there was curious, here is some confirmed info re: local teams' pickups for the ToC in Kitchener.

Ottawa Team Easton Thunder have picked up Brad Bricknell, a pitcher, to get them a third arm in additon to Dan Konkle and Jeff Murphy. Bricknell pitched last year at the ToC in Wisconsin with Cobourg Stingers.

Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electric have picked up Joe McCleary of the Quyon Flyers and Pontiac Royals. Big Joe, who will be fresh off the Jr. Canadians in St-Leonard prior to Kitchener, has a solid bat and act as back up catcher in case Steve Johnson eats some more bad shellfish.

Update - Stittsville 56ers have three pickups for Kitchener. Kevin McGuire and Sean Houle from the Carp I4C team will join Stittsville for the tourney. McGuire will help shore up the middle infield and Houle who will see duty behind the plate as well as some utility work. Also joining the 56ers will be Stittsville resident currently coaching in the US, Kyle Jamieson. KJ can play outfield, DP, and will possibly see some spot pitching and is looked at as a great asset on the Stittsville bench.

Another Stittsville update: The 56ers have added Matt Greer of the Quyon Flyers and Pontiac Royals as a fourth pick up as a hardship/injury replacement for Greg McMillan. Matt is a great young hitter who can play pretty much anywhere on the field, including pitcher. Matt is a versatile player who adds a lot to our line up both offensively and defensively. As per Sammy O "We are extremely happy to have him on board."

According the "The Deuce" http://fastpitchwest.com/thedeuce/?p=584#more-584 the Micksburg Twins have picked up two players from the Niagara Snappers for the big tourney in Kitchener:Mike Bateman P/INF-Niagara Falls, ON and Kevin Newhouse C/UTIL-Niagara Falls, ON

I hear that Stittsville is picking up a couple of Carp/Kanata league guys, no pitchers though which I find quite interesting.
