I4C Victory / Team Easton series preview

The expansion Carp I4C Victory and defending champions Team Easton will plan in a GOFL best of five semi-final series. The schedule is yet to be determined but it is a good bet that these teams will start on Weds Sept 6.

Team Easton won the 2006 season series 2 games to 0, including a four point game. Here is how the two teams matched up this season:

Dan Konkle was perfect over this five inning mercy rule game. Duane Bromley took the loss for Carp. Konkle and Al Read had homers for Team Easton.

Dan Konkle again got the win, this time throwing a one-hitter with two walks and 14 strikeouts. Neil Cooke pitched very well taking the loss, allowing only four hits. Easton scored both runs in the first as Konkle and John Peck had RBIs. Shawn Houle had the only Carp hit of the year against Team Easton in league play.
