Snappers win 8-5, Valley Junior series all tied up at 2 games each.

The Shawville Jr Snappers hosted the Micksburg Jr Twins Tuesday night in a must win game for Shawville. The Snappers went down 2 - 0 early but eventually came back to tie it up at 3. Micksburg went up 4 - 3 and then changed pitchers, bringing in Joran Graham. The Snappers had a big 3-run 4th inning and didn't look back, winning the game 8 - 5.

Graham had a quieter, but still solid, game at the plate this time going 1 - 2 with two walks. Matt Romain also had a sold game making a few good plays at second and getting it done at the plate posting a couple hits and a couple walks as well.

For Shawville, the hitting was led by Wilbur Mclean going 3 - 3 with a couple RBI and a few stolen bases, including stealing home for one of the Shawville insurance runs. Dennis McCleary also had a strong night at the plate going 2 - 3 with a couple RBI, and stealing home for the winning run.

Game 5 in this best-of-five series will be held in Micksburg Thursday at 7:00 as part of a double-header with the Micksburg Twins and Pontiac Royals.
