Quyon gets first win at Nationals
The Quyon Flyers are now 1-3 at the Junior Nationals.
The host St-Leonard Express defeated the Flyers 11-0 in a 5 inning mercy game. http://www.juniorhommes2006.ca/stats/18.htm. Quyon was limited to three hits by Shawn Laframboise and Ben Younge (2). Luke Young had the start and was tagged with the loss and had relief from Ryan Cox and Matt Greer.
The Flyers rebounded though with a big 7-2 victory over Summerside, PEI. http://www.juniorhommes2006.ca/stats/26.htm. Matt Greer had the complete game 4-hitter win. Shawn Laframboise went 3 for 4 with an RBI. Steve McCord was 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Ben Younge, Jordan Kearns and Nick Armitage had the other RBIs.
