Ottawa Blitz oh-so-close

The Blitz would have to be regarded as the most improved team in the GOFL this season, but have yet to clinch their first league win.

At the Showcase, they were leading Carp by 2 going into the bottom of the sixth but the wheels fell off and they lost 11-4. Versus Team Easton they showed plenty of offensive spark and just came up short 9-8. And against WC Electric, they played very well defensively and got a strong pitching performance from Derick Bulley but couldn't get any runs off Brad Porter and lost 2-0.

In eight GOFL games so far this season, they have lost 3 games by one run and 3 games by two runs.
