GOFL semi-finals now set
With Easton's victory last night, the match ups for the Greater Ottawa Fastball League semi-finals have been set.
Five time defending champions and first place finisher Ottawa Team Easton will take on fifth place Carp I4C Victory in a best-of-five series. Easton won both regular season games by scores of 10-3 and 6-2. A tentative schedule has Game 1 in Stittsville on Tuesday, with Game 2 in Carp on Thursday.
The other best-of-five semi-final will see second place Stittsville 56ers and the third place Quyon COMBAT Flyers do battle. Stittsville and Quyon split their regular season meetings, with Quyon winning at home 5-2 and Stittsville winning at home 3-0. No game time set yet for this one.
