Stittsville moves on to semi-finals

Greely's first GOFL season came to an end Monday night with a 7-0 loss to Stittsville. The 56ers swept their best-of-three quarterfinal two games straight. Congrats to the Eagles on a good first year, and word is that they are already planning for the 2009 season.

Shannon Borho had the complete game loss. Dan Bradley had the complete game win (2 hitter with several Ks and no walks). Scott Herriot hit a grand slam in the bottom of the second and Tyler Nystedt drove in 3 with a single and a double. Derrick Dumond and Anil Hayne had the hits for Greely - both singles.
