Here are the final standings for the Upper Ottawa Valley Mens Fastball League:

1. Shawville Snappers 8-1-3 = 19pts
2. Fitzroy/McNab Badham Carpentry 7-5-0 = 14pts
3. Micksburg Sr Twins 4-7-1 = 9pts
4. Micksburg Jr Twins 2-8-2 = 6pts

First round of the playoffs are a best-of-three with 1st playing 4th and 2nd playing 3rd. The finals will then be a best-of-five.

Series A: Shawville Snappers vs. Micksburg Jr Twins

The Shawville Snappers are faced with the task of taking on Joran Graham and his Micksburg Jr Twins in round one of the UOVMFL playoffs. The Jr Twins proved to be a tough foe for Shawville while in Micksburg, as the Twins came out with two ties against the Snappers in the 'burg. The most recent of which, a wild shootout that posted 18 runs on the board, saw Micksburg come back from a 9-1 deficit to pick up the point. The comeback was completed in the bottom of the seventh. While down 9-6, Graham hit a towering three-run homerun to left field to knot it up at 9's.

Series B: Fitzroy/McNab Badham Carpentry vs. Micksburg Sr Twins

Fitzroy / McNab Badham Carpentry have drawn the Micksburg Sr Twins for their first round battle. Badham Carpentry won the season series, but the Sr Twins will be far from a push-over with their ace Corey Costello coming off a stellar performance at the Tournament of Champions in Appleton, Wisconsin. At the ToC, Costello struck out an impressive 29 batters in just 13 innings of work. Look for him to fan a few more in the next week.
