Upper Ottawa Valley Men's Fastball League Playoffs now set

The Upper Ottawa Valley Mens Fastball League playoffs are now set to begin Friday August 14th in Micksburg.

Friday night will see the Micksburg Jr Twins hosting the Douglas Green Sox in the 4 vs. 5 play-in game. The winner of that will move on the face the Shawville Snappers on Sunday evening.

Micksburg will be hungry for a match-up with the Snappers. Although they did not win any games in this year's season series, they provided Shawville with an early 1st round upset in last year's playoffs before bowing out the the Sr Twins in the finals. Douglas will look to extend their inaugural season on Friday night as well.

The Sr Twins will host McNab in the other series. Micksburg finished the regular season as the #2 seed, only 1 point up on McNab. Micksburg was also the only team to beat McNab in the season series, taking it 2-0-1.
