Quyon edges Easton 1-0 in Game 3

update from Shawn Laframboise

Quyon COMBAT Flyers beat Ottawa Team Easton 1-0 in GOFL playoff action on Tuesday night in Stittsville to take a 2 games to 1 lead in their semi-final series.

Drew Hathway had the win with a three hit performance, while Brad Porter took the loss allowing only two hits.

Quyon scored the game's only run in the second inning. Joran Graham walked, and a wild pitch moved him to second base. Joe McCleary then hit a single for what turned out to be the game winning RBI.

Details for Game 4 in Quyon remain "under negotiation" and should be settled tomorrow.

Becoming more and more clear which club is the strongest, when no surprise players show up. I would imagine that the
"ongoing negotiations" about game 4 may have something to do with the availability of a certain Easton "spare" player.
