The drought is over

At long last, after 55 Novice B games over a season and a half, it finally happened.

Saturday afternoon, at the Goulbourn Recreation Centre, the West Carleton Novice B team defeated the Stittsville Rams 5-1 and the second (and game winning goal) was scored by Fitzroy Fastball Junior, followed up by a pretty spectacular goal celebration.

Junior will now entertain sponsorship deals - anyone know somebody that makes hockey sticks and is looking for a high profile scorer to endorse them? Contract offers can be emailed to fastball[at]fitzroyharbour.com
