REMINDER: OASA "Springboard" Clinic in Brockville
The OASA will be hosting a "Springboard" Clinic in Brockville this spring for player and coach development. Looks like a great day - I plan on bringing down the Caveman and Fitzroy Junior.

Clinic Registration
Pre-register up to 1 week before clinic at www.oasa.ca by clicking on the Springboard link on the home page.
Cost: $10.00 per participant per session payable upon arrival.
Coaching Sessions
The coaches’ sessions will begin at 10:00 am and are specific to the minor age group. Coach presenters will discuss techniques, drills and practice organization. There will be a question and answer period. There will also be a qualified Softball Ontario Umpire present to discuss rules of the game and changes for this year.
Player sessions
There will be a morning and afternoon session. The morning session will be for players 7-12 years of age and the afternoon session will be for players 13 to 18 years of age. The coaches’ session will be held in the morning and focus on the minor age group.
Morning Schedule
Ages 7-12
9:00 - 9:15 Warm-up
9:15 - 10:00 Group 1 Hitting / Group 2 Fielding
10:00 – 10:15 Break
10:15 – 11:00 Group 1 Fielding / Group 2 Hitting
11:00 – 12:00 Pitching/Catching - Throwing/Base running
Afternoon Schedule
Ages 13-18
Session begins at 12:30pm.
The afternoon sessions will follow the same schedule.
