Glen Cairn wins Blackburn Tournament

The Glen Cairn Don Cherry's team won the eight team Blackburn Tournament on the weekend.
Glen Cairn ran the table with five straight wins, defeating the Blackburn Knights in the finals 6-5. The Glen were down 5-0 after five but came back with 2 in the sixth and 4 in the seventh to win the title. Cody Price had the win in relief of Neil Cooke while Brad Porter took the loss. Scott Herriot had two homers for the Glen.
The Glen had a close 7-6 semi-final win over the Blackburn Guzzlers in nine innings while the Knights beat the Cree Nation Fireballs in the other semi.
