GOFL Week 11 - Updated
Lots of action this week in the GOFL, capped off by the top tournament in the area, the Gil Read Memorial 12 team tournament this weekend.
Tuesday has the Stittsville 56ers (5-8-1) in Fitzroy Harbour at 8:30pm to face West Carleton Electric (6-6-1).
Manotick Blitz (5-8-1) are to play Kars Aces (7-4-3) in a doubleheader - this was originally scheduled for Tuesday in North Gower, but has been moved to Wednesday in Manotick at 7pm and 9pm due to diamond issues in the Gower.
Also on Wednesday, Quyon Flyers (3-8) will go to Carp (9-4-1) to face I4C Victory in a make up game at 8pm. At the Grove in Stittsville, Barrhaven Broadway Blues (4-9-1) will face the 56ers at 8:30pm.
The Micksburg Twins (11-3) will be in fortwo one game in Carp on Thursday, facing I4C Victory at 7pm. The game originally scheduled against Barrhaven that night will be postponed until a later date.
West Carleton Electric will cross the river to face Quyon at 8pm on Thursday. The Flyers have announced that this game will be played in honour of their teammate Timmy Craig who died this past winter.
