GOFL Thursday playoff round up
There were two games Thursday night in GOFL playoffs.
Kars Aces 10 Quyon Flyers 0
Kars evened up their series with Quyon at 1-1 with a win on the Quebec side by a score of 10-0. Brad Porter had the win, throwing a no-hitter. Matt Greer took the loss.
West Carleton Electric 4 Manotick Taylor's Blitz 3
The Trics swept their series 3-0 over Manotick with a dramatic win in front of a good crowd in Fitzroy Harbour. Jeff Barber earned the win in relief of Steve Cavanagh. Derick Bulley had the loss for the Blitz. Derek Martin had a three run homer for Manotick, and Jeff Barber had a solo shot for the home team. Neil Murphy had the walk off RBI to win the game for West Carleton.
