Au Sable Forks tournament
In a Friday night game at the Au Sable tournament, the Kanata Pirates defeated Razzano's Trucking of Johnstown, NY by a 7-3 score. Mike Noftall had the win in relief of Jason Smith.
Stittsville started off Saturday with a 4-3 win over Scooter's of Forrestport, NY. The 56ers then lost their second game 2-1 to Donnacona, QC Blue Sox in extra innings. Stittsville finished second in their pool and will be CPI of Oswego, NY in the morning at 9 am.
Kanata won their pool by winning their second game 1-0 over the Boston, MA Seadogs. They also won their first playoff game this afternoon to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday, but no details available yet.
Kanata ended up losing to Oshawa in the semi-finals 6-4.
