I4C Victory wins series over Stittsville (updated)

I4C Victory won 3-0 in game two of their Greater Ottawa Fastball League quarter-final series on Wednesday over the Stittsville 56ers to advance to the semi-finals.
Andrew Putnam had the win for I4C, throwing a three-hitter. Darren Featherstone took the loss for the 56ers.
Matt McNish scored I4C's first run after hitting a double and was brought in by a Ryan Mitt's double.
I4C got their second run when Shane McNish singled, stole second and was cashed by Joe Allan.
Matt McNish made it 3-0 when he hit a triple and scored on Putnam's sacrifice fly.
The 56er's put pressure on in the 5th and 6th after some walks but the visitors got out of the inning both times. The hits for Stittsville were all singles, with John Craig, Trevor Scott and Dan Bradley reaching safely.
Stittsville is now eliminated from the playoffs and I4C Victory will await the conclusion of the other two series to see who their opponent will be.
