Stittsville defeats As in first game, second game rained out

The Stittsville 56ers defeated the Ottawa Valley As 7-0 in the first game of Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Thursday night in Carp. Adam Smith got the win, while Adam Rueckwald took the loss.

The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed due to rain with Stittsville leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth.
