Kingston Axemen in top 12 at ISC World Tournament
After losing their first game 4-2 to the Kegel Black Knights of North Dakota, the Kingston Axemen have reeled of three straight wins at the International Softball Congress World Tournament in Moline, Illinois.
All of the Axemen wins have been by a single run: 3-2 over the Todd's Mudjacking of Illinois, 7-6 over Topeka Toros from Kansas, and 8-7 yesterday over the #10 ranked Bloomington, IL Stix.
Next up is a game at 3 pm Eastern Time against the A1 Bombers, based out of Saskatchewan. Kingston is currently one of only twelve teams remaining in the World Tournament.
GOFL players Matt Greer (Quyon), Joran Graham (Micksburg), Brad Pender and Nick Ellis (both with Kars) are on the Kingston roster.
