Host team wins Shawville tournament

The host Shawville Scrappers won the four team men's fastball tournament this past weekend in Shawville, QC. The Scrappers went undefeated (four wins), beating Micksburg in the final by a score of 5-0. Pitching for the hosts were Len Burger, Todd Hearty and Matt Greer, while Micksburg had Adam Rueckwald and Ben Broek on the slab.

Other teams participating were the Goodfellows / Kemptville Black Sox (Dan Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Will Lowe and Matt Cox pitching) and Fitzroy Harbour (Todd Wilson and Steve Cavanagh).
