GOFL Wednesday night round up (updated)

There were four games in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League on Wednesday night - here is what happened.


Kars Aces 8 Stittsville 56ers 3
At the Grove
The game at the Grove saw the Kars Aces in to play the Stittsville 56ers. Kars prevailed with a 8-3 win. Brad Porter earned the win while Luc D'Entremont took the loss with relief from Kyle Olson. Dan Jessiman had a three-run homer for the 56ers.


Quyon Flyers 9 Orleans Rebels 6
At Pierre Rocque
With DJ Don spinning the tunes, the Rebels fells short losing 9-6 to the Flyers. Matt Greer earned the win with relief from Trevor Lahey. Andy Barber took the loss with relief from Jeff Barber. Jeff Barber hit one out for the Rebels, while Todd Hearty and Lane McMurtry went yard for Quyon.


Kemptville Black Sox 11 I4C Victory 8
Kemptville Black Sox 5 I4C Victory 4
At Manotick Arena
Kemptville swept their doubleheader with I4C Victory. The first game saw Matt Cox his first GOFL victory with Shannon Borho in relief. Matt McNish took the loss.


The second match up of the night had Borho with the complete game win and McNish taking the loss. Curt Scurr and Derek Martin both had homers for I4C.
