U16 Eliminations won by Napanee
The U16 Ontario Amateur Softball Association Elimination tournament was held this past weekend with 17 teams participating.
The Napanee Express ran the table with a perfect 5-0 record to win the event. The Haldimand Heat from Fisherville finished second while the Simcoe Braves took bronze.
Connor Brooks, who performed very well at the U19 Eliminations in Carp the weekend before as a "call up" was named top pitcher for the event.
Westport Storm participated but had a very tough draw and lost two straight.
