GOFL Tuesday night round up
There were two games in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League on Tuesday night.
In Fitzroy Harbour, West Carleton Electric got by the Micksburg Twins 14-12 in a wild game with several lead changes, which was also the Murph Dog's managerial debut for the Trics. Steve Cavanagh had the win for Fitzroy and also hit a home run to help his cause. Michael Cavanagh and Neil Murphy also hit homers for West Carleton. For Micksburg, Matt McIntyre was the losing pitcher in relief of John Enright. Scott Conroy and Andy McIntyre had homers for the Twins.
In Shawville, the Quyon Flyers defeated the Stittsville 56ers 4-2. Trevor Lahey got the win while Kyle Olson took the loss. Scott Jessiman had a homer for the 56ers while Curtis Daley hit one out for the Flyers.
