Micksburg and Orleans have two tight games in Fitzroy
The Micksburg Twins and Orleans Rebels faced off on Tuesday night in Fitzroy Harbour for a neutral site Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader.
The first game ended in a 8-8 tie. Micksburg brought a four run lead into the bottom of the seventh but Orleans battled to even up the match. Joran Graham and Noah Fleurie threw for the Twins while Andy Barber went the distance for the Rebels. Graham hit a homer for Micksburg as did Quinton Rook.
The night cap only went six innings due the time restrictions on the lights and the Twins pulled off a 8-5 walkoff win on a Scott Conroy three run bomb. John Enright earned the win while Jeff Barber took the loss. Matt McIntyre of Micksburg also hit one out, and Matt Healey parked two for Orleans.
