Hopper headed to U17 Nationals

Conner Hopper, who plays for both the West Carleton Electric U17 and as a rookie for the WC team in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League, has been selected by the Napanee Express U17 as a pick up for the Softball Canada U17 Boys' Championship in Saskatoon from August 10 to 14.

Each qualified team for the nationals can select up to three additional players to join them at Nationals. Hopper's statline in four games at U17 Eliminations for the Junior 'Trics was hard to ignore: 9 for 12, 2 homers, 3 triples, a double, 8 runs scored, 12 RBIs, 3 walks and no strikeouts.
