Napanee finalists at U20 elims

The Tavistock Athletics beat the Napanee Express in the "if necessary" game of the Ontario Amateur Softball Assocaition U20 Men's Elimination Tournament in Wilmot over the past weekend. Two GOFLers are on the Express: Tyler Branchaud (Manotick Brewers) plays centerfield and Joe Mick (Micksburg Twins) catches. They will be heading to the Softball Canada U20 Men's Championship touranment in Napanee from August 2 to 7.

The Westport Storm also participated, but lost two straight. Three GOFLers play on that team - Noah Fleurie (Micksburg) pitches, Owen Brown (West Carleton Electric) plays third and Owen Arseneault (Ottawa Valley As) plays outfield. The Storm will be at the U20 Provincial B tournament in August.
