Quyon and Osgoode win in Fitzroy

In the early Greater Ottawa Fastball League game in Fitzroy Harbour on Tuesday night, the Quyon Flyers outlasted West Carleton Electric 13-8. Matt Greer was the winning pitcher and hit a homer. Lane McMurtry and Dennis McCleary both hit two homers for the Flyers. Steve Cavanagh took the loss in relief of Gabe Brown.

The late game saw the Osgoode Chiefs beat the Electric 12-0. Cory Baldwin had the win, throwing a no hitter with two walks. Baldwin also hit a homer. Steve Cavanagh took the loss and had relief from Owen Brown.
