Thursday in the GOFL (more details added)

There were two league games and an exhibition game in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Thursday. 

Quyon Flyers defeated the Osgoode Chiefs 10-3 at the Quyon diamond. Drew Hathway earned the win and Nolan Holmes took the loss. Holmes had a first inning homer for the Chiefs, while the Flyers had homers from Lane McMurtry, Steve McCord, Hunter Beauregard and Shawn Laframboise.

Micksburg Twins hosted West Carleton Electric U20 for an exhibition game and beat them by a score of 9-2 in the first game of doubleheader.  John Enright got the win while Blake Bramburger took the loss with relief from Gabe Brown. Matt McIntyre had two doubles, Joe Mick a double and a triple and two RBIs, and Jared Steege a single, double and triple and three RBIs for the Twins. Sammy Perkins had a double and a walk for WC U20 and scored both runs. Conner Hopper and Alex Strathern had RBI singles for the visitors.

The second game saw Micksburg defeat West Carleton Electric men's team 8-1 in GOFL league play. Joran Graham earned the win throwing a two hitter and striking out 14 over five innings. Ben Broek took loss. Conner Hopper had a homer for WC. For the Twins, Andy McIntyre had two doubles and a single, Graham had two singles and two RBIs, and Jared Steege hit a double, walked twice and drove in two.
