WC Rona takes game one of Harbour Ball Final

WC Rona won the first game of the best-of-three Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League championship series 6-5 over the Grandor Farms Logsplitters on Tuesday night. 

Once again, Rona had a one run deficit going into the bottom of the seventh and came back for the walk off win, this time with a dropped third strike allowing Finn Barton to score from third base to seal the victory.

Barton had the pitching win in relief of Colton Lecuyer. Gabe Brown took the loss in relief of Owen Brown. 

Lecuyer and Trevor Barton hit homers for Rona, while Dylan Rorwick hit one out for the Splitters.

The date for game two of the series will be Wednesday October 9 at 8 p.m.
