Cobourg advances to Masters final

The Cobourg Force advanced to the final with a 6-3 win last night over the Waterdown Hammer at the Softball Canada Masters (40+) Men's Canadian Championship in Kitchener.

Waterdown will play the Saskatoon Brewers at 10:30 a.m. in the semi-final to determine which team plays the Force in the final and which team gets bronze.

Brad Pender (GOFL - Vars Aces) is playing shortstop for Cobourg and was named an All-star Infielder for the event.
