Los Caballos win game 1

Los Caballos won the first game of their best-of-three Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff series against West Carleton Electric by a score of 5-2 in Fitzroy Harbour on Tuesday night.

Dan Read had the win, allowing eight hits, walking one and striking out six. Adam Rueckwald took the loss giving up seven hits, no walks and striking out four.

Fredyan Carpio had a two run homer and Wilmer Lovera a solo shot for Los Caballos.  Jefferson Roman and Elvin Gomez also had RBIs.

WC runs came on a Dylan Rorwick solo homer in the first and a Bryce Rebertz solo homer in the seventh. Trevor Barton, Conner Hopper, Gabe Brown, Alex Strathern and Rueckwald also had hits.
