RC does well at Junior Elims
Congrats to Ryan Cox of the Valley Raiders who pitched well at the OASA Junior Eliminations in Merlin, ON this past weekend. The team that picked him up, Fingal, finished fourth and just out of the running for a trip to the Nationals as the first three teams received berths.
Ryan pitched in four games, earning a win and a save.
Ryan threw 3 scoreless innings against Elmira (the eventual champs) where he did not get the decision. Against Scarborough Royals, Ryan closed out the last three innings and picked up a save in a 6-5 victory. He got the start, and the win, against Chepstow in five innings of work in a 9-4 victory. In the game against third place Oshawa, Ryan closed out the final inning of the 7-0 loss.
Congrats RC, good showing.

That crazy delivery of his was too much for the other junior teams to handle.
It may not look pretty, but it gets the job done.
Way to go RC!
Where can I purchase an RC jersey??
