ToC update

A quick update from the ToC in Kitchener.

- Nice facilities, diamonds are in great shape. The four diamonds for the ISC II are very nice and the PHBY where the big boys play is outstanding.

- Team Easton and Stittsville opened up Sunday early with wins.

- Saw the Easton/Toronto game and Dan Konkle and Jeff Murphy both pitched very well in a 2-0 shutout. The Toronto starter was having huge problems with illegal pitches. If you listened to the Internet radio for this game, you would have heard me with some insightful commentary for an inning!

- Stittsville beat Sydney, Nova Scotia. Didn’t see this one, but I hear the Sydney team was not very strong.

- WC Electric lost 3-1 to Thomson, Illinois. Brad Porter gave up a two run shot in the first then settled down and threw well. Todd Clouthier had the hot bat for Fitzroy with two singles off the Czech pitcher that throws for Thomson. Todd also had the WC RBI.

- Stittsville lost their night game against Kitchener 3-1. They weren't too happy with the umps in this one.

- Team Easton played TNT from Pennsylvannia in their night game and lost (I think it was 8-1). TNT hit four bombs....huge homers.

- Micksburg won their first one over Orangeville 9-0. Heard that Corey Costello had a perfect game, but haven't verified that.

more updates when I get a chance

Adam, I am disappointed you didn't notice the announcers calling the Easton pitcher Murphy, when it was actually Konkle. Team Easton did a switch before the first pitch to have Konkle batting and pitching.
