Orleans girls fare well at Junior Women's Nationals

Two players from Orleans Junior Rebels were recently picked up for the Canadian Junior Women's fastpitch tournament currently going on in Ile Perrot, Quebec.
Left fielder Sam Pantalone of Kanata and Pitcher Jill Taylor of Orleans are playing for the Clarington Cougars as the Ontario 3 representative.
Although the team was seeded in the 12th position they currently stand in 3rd place with a 4-2 record with both losses being by 1 run.
Both players are doing quite well as Jill Taylor received player of the game VS Port Perry Angels (Ontario 1) by going 3/4 with 2 rbi's and a SB as well as pitching 3 scoreless innings in relief during a 6-5 win, while Sam Pantalone has chipped in with 3 doubles off the fence and 1 single.
