Carp I4C Victory Add Two More for ISC II Tournament of Champions
Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electrics’ Porter and Daley to Join Carp in Kitchener/Cambridge

The Carp I4C Victory are pleased to announce that pitcher, Brad Porter and outfielder, Jon Daley of the Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electric fastball club have agreed to join Carp for the ISC II Tournament of Champions (ToC) to be held in Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario from August 14-18th.

Porter brings a tremendous amount of experience with him having, played at the top of the Intermediate level for the past five years. He played with Elkland (PA) Fastpitch from 2002-2005 and was a member of the Kemptville Thunder from 1999-2004 in the Kemptville Men’s Fastball League, the predecessor of the current Greater Ottawa Fastball League. He made two trips to the ISC II ToC with Kemptville in 2003 and again in 2004.

Growing up, Porter played his Juvenile and Junior ball with the Smiths Falls Redmen coached by Ray Madden a name well known to followers of Junior fastball in Ontario. In 1996 the Redmen with Porter and four other of his current West Carleton Electric teammates won the Ontario Juvenile A championship.

In 2005, Porter joined Fitzroy Harbour and made the trip with the Electrics to the ISC II Toc in 2006.

Daley played his minor ball growing up out of Carp. He went on to play two years with the Kemptville Junior Thunder and one year with Team Easton Thunder. He helped the Electrics to a 2005 Silver medal at the OASA Men’s Intermediate C Tournament held in Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls. His speed in the outfield and on the base paths will help the Victory at the ToC.
