Week 2 in the GOFL
Let's hope things warm up for week 2 of the GOFL season, as there are eight games on tap including three doubleheaders.
Tuesday night will see a doubleheader at the North Gower diamond, with West Carleton Electric facing North Gower Marlboroughs at 7pm followed by Ottawa Blitz at the Kars Aces in the 9pm game.
The Wednesday night doubleheader in Manotick sees Carp I4C Victory playing two games - first against the Ottawa Blitz at 7pm then the Barrhaven Broadway Blues at 9pm.
The Grove in Stittsville on Wednesday at 8:30pm sees Quyon COMBAT Flyers back again to avenge last week's loss against the Stittsville 56ers.
Thursday night in Carp, I4C will host the 56ers at 8:30pm.
To wrap up the week, Friday night fastball in Fitzroy Harbour has the Marlboroughs in town to face the Electric for a two game set at 7pm and 9pm.
Watch the blog and www.GOFL.ca for some upcoming changes to the schedule as some games in June and July will need to be moved.
