Tourneys this weekend

Some big tournaments this weekend.

In Springfield, ON (down near London), the ISC Eastern Canada qualifier is being played, with 12 teams vying for a spot at the Worlds. Good luck to Quyon in their game at 7pm - we'll post results as they come available.

There is also a qualifier this weekend in Elkland PA for the Mid Atlantic Fastpitch Travel League - but I can't find any info on that one online.

And of course Fitzroy Fastball Junior will be playing in the 8 team West Carleton Minor Softball Association year end Mites (9-10yrs) tournament in Fitzroy Harbour. Look for Fitzroy 1 to have a strong tournament, likely facing arch rivals Carp 1 in the championship game.

Last, and certainly not least, will be the Caveman's first ever tourmnament - the 5-pitch Fun Day in Kinburn. Nine teams will be participating in that. I'll have a full report of the Caveman's successes (or lack thereof) based on Mrs. Fastball's report.
