Broadway Bar & Grill wins the Glen Cairn Tournament

Broadway Bar & Grill won the Glen Cairn Men's League Tournament in Carp this past weekend. Broadway finished 2-1 in the round robin but secured the fourth spot to enter the A round of playoffs. Despite losing on Saturday morning to the Blackburn Men's League Rebels 3-2, they avenged the loss with a 3-1 win in the semi-finals to advance. In the other semi, the previous undefeated Mattamy Homes and Taggart's Welding faced off with Mattamy prevailing 9-4.
Broadways' defated Mattamy in the finals 1-0, with Neil Cooke's squad edging Darren Featherstone's team for the title.
On the B side, ASAP beat OHS 3-2 and Don Cherry's beat Laurysen Kitchens 8-5 to set up the final where Don Cherry's prevailed 5-1.
