Au Sable Forks tournament
Word is that Knoxville/Ontario won the AuSable Forks, NY 51st Annual Tournament this past weekend. Lead by pitcher Juan Potolicchio, K/O defeated CPI of Oswego, NY 6-1 in the tournament final.
Barrhaven Broadway Blues were entered and went 1-2, losing to Knoxville in an elimination game 3-0, even though pitchers Cory Alkerton and Jason Smith allowed only two hits.
Carp I4C Victory won their first three games (7-1 over Scooters of Forestport, NY, 14-0 over St-Henri, QC, 5-4 over Donnacona, QC Blue Sox) but lost in an elimination game against Gregg Garrity and CPI by a score of 7-6 after being up 6-0 early in the game.
