The Stittsville 56ers shutout the Barrhaven Broadway Blues in the first game of the Wednesday night doubleheader in Manotick.
Adam Smith had the win and Dan Konkle earned a save. Trevor Lahey took the loss. Scott Herriot had a home run for the 56ers.
Manotick 9 Stittsville 3
In the night cap, Manotick Taylor's Blitz won 9-3 over the 56ers. Jamie Blakely earned the win, while Dan Konkle took the loss with relief from Trevor Scott. The Blitzos had three home runs in the game: Derick Bulley had a three-run shot, Matt Bowman had a two-run homer and Derek Martin hit a solo dinger.
