MItes (U10) fun day in Fitzroy Harbour - July 14

I didn't have enough on my plate, so I added another fastball activity for this summer. The Caveman is pleased and will be showcasing his skills at this event.

Softball Ontario has confirmed a Mites Fun Day in Fitzroy Harbour on Sunday July 14. It is a "pilot event" and one of the main goals of the event is to use the new Softball Canada recommended rules for mites (U10) and gather feedback from parents, coaches and players on the new rules.

There will be minimum two games for each team - we will decide on the format once we see how many teams are interested. There will also be, according to Softball Ontario, a "Tournament FUN ZONE to add excitement to the event".

This event is for boys and girls born in 2003 or later and is open to all skill levels. Cost will be $125 a team and will include a BBQ lunch. It is important to note that as per the guidelines provided by Softball Ontario, teams can have a minimum of 6 players to participate and no more than 9.

The host location is the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre, 100 Clifford Campbell Street, Fitzroy Harbour ON K0A 1X0.
